Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Striper Wax Sealer Canning Jar.
Circa 1870 and coming from Southwestern Pennsylvania (probably Greensboro), this beauty features the Tooled Rim with Groove for the Wax Seal, Tapered Sides, and Four Freehand Cobalt Stripes. A top and bottom stripe frame a pair of stripes in the middle. Stands 8" tall.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind. A 1/2" chip on the rim on the right side in the making and glazed over.
