Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 1/2" Stovepipe Wax Sealer Canning Jar.
 
Circa 1870 and hailing from Southwestern Pennsylvania, this beauty features the Straight-sided Stovepipe Form, Grooved Rim for Wax to Seal a Metal Lid on Top, and Three Brushed Cobalt Stripes.  
 
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" chip on the top of the rim, and small rust stain on the back.  That's it!  No inner or outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A kiln touch on the right side in the making.
