    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this very desirable 6 3/4" Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Palatine, West Virginia (modern Fairmont).  

     

    This beauty featues a Small 6 3/4" Size, Tooled Grooved Wax Sealer Rim, and Three Bright Cobalt Stripes Down the Front.  The light gray clay and pretty cobalt characteristic of Palatine stoneware makes for a very pleasant visage.  

     

    Excellent Condition.  A minor 3/16" flake on the inner rim and three small chips side-by-side inside the top rim (1/4" to 1/2").  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Kiln touch on the left side in the making.
