    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 8" Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.  

     

    Circa 1870 this beauty features the Wax Sealer Form with Tooled Grooved Rim, Tapered Sides, and 6 Cobalt Stripes Down the Front.  Warm gray glaze providing a nice contrast with the stripes.  Stands 8" tall.

     

    Very Good Condition.  Chips and wear around the inside of the rim, and some light staining from use.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
