Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this primitive 3 Gallon Stoneware Crock from Ohio.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Semi-Squared Rim, Scribed Shoulder, and Brushed Cobalt Capacity Number with 3 Underscores and Flower. Lots of iron ore in the clay melted in the firing to produce a dotted glaze. Measures 11" tall and 9 3/4" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. A few small, light, scattered stains. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
