Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Cuspidor Spittoon.  
 
Circa 1870, this beauty is hand-turned in light clay and decorated with Accent Around the Drain Opening and 5 Comma Vines around the Outside.  Measures 4" tall and 8" wide across the bottom.
 
Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/8" flake inside the top drain opening and a 3/4" on the underside at the edge on the back.  That's it!  No top edge chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. 
 
Very clean example.  Typically these were trampled underfoot and broken in use.
