Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Rounded Rim and Shoulder with Recess for Ease of Tying a Covering Over the Top, and a Cobalt Stripe around the Shoulder with Four Brushed Cobalt Clovers Below.  Very dark and shiny cobalt.  Stands 8 3/4" tall.
 
You will see dozens of these jars without a stripe before one shows up with a stripe.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A short curved hairline near the bottom that wraps under as a small y-shaped hairline (closeup).  No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
