Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.

Dating around 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Rim for Easily Tying-Down a Lid, and a Large Dangling Tulip on one side and Comma Vining on the other.  Strong and shiny cobalt on a light gray clay for maximum contrast.  Stands 8 1/2" tall.

Excellent Condition.  A very narrow 1/2" flake on the edge of the rim and a faint 2 1/2" craze line on the bottom near one side that does not go through (closeup--not the scratch on the bottom in the making, but just above it).  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
