Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug from the Northeast.  I suspect Massachusetts due to its form that is similar to Taunton, MA stoneware.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Lavender Plant with Three Leave Four Blossoms.  A most unusual decoration for stoneware and drawn with great detail.  Stands 11 1/4" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A narrow 1/4" chip on the left side of the spout and some staining from use.   No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
