Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Preserve Jar from the Northeast.

Crica 1875, this beauty features a Light Salt Glaze and a Large Brushed Cobalt Leaf in Brilliant Cobalt on the Front.  It also has a paper label for "Caprice Smoking Tobacco, from G. W. Gails, Baltimore" on the back, but I do not think it is original to the jar.  No wear.

Excellent Condition. Wear and minor nibbles around the inner seating ring upon which a lid would sit, a surface ping on the top of the right handle (closeup), and a couple small stains on the back.  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
