Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock attributed to Ballardvale, Massachusetts.
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Bluebird Perched on a Log Decoration.  The cobalt  is dark and shiny and the artistry is skilled.  Measures 9 1/2" tall and 10" wide across the top.
 
Good Condition.  Two chips inside the rim (1/8", 5/8"), two chips outside the rim (1/2", 1"), and a 1 1/2" hairline in front of the left handle (closeup 1) and 1" hairline behind the right handle (closeup 2). No base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A flat chip on top of the rim where it touched another piece in the making.
