Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Crock from the Midwest.
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Freehand 3 Capacity Number underscored with a Bumblebee Decoration.  Measures 10 3/4" tall and 10" wide across the top.
 
Good Condition.  Some glaze flakes on the left side toward the front at the bottom, a 3" vertical hairline to the right of the bee's tail (closeup 1), and a faint 6" vertical hairline below the right handle (closeup 2).  No rim or base chips, cracks, or restoration.  Some fine bubbles in the cobalt in the making.
