Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Shapely 4 Gallon Lidded Jar attributed to Ohio.
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Squared Rim,  Double Open Handles, and a Folky Floral with Two Leafy Stems and Oval Blossoms.  Comes with a lid that fits it perfectly for size and color.  Stands 14 1/2" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition.  Small chips around the inner rim where the lid sits, half a dozen chips on the bottom edge (1/4" to 1"), and an x- shaped hairline on the front by the flower (closeup 1), and some similar interconnected hairlines on the shoulder in the back (closeup 2).  No outer rim chips, cracks, stains or restoration.  Fine drying/firing lines on the rim in the making.  The lid is perfect, with a chip on the underside in the making and glazed over.
