Item 8827
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this primitive 6" Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher.
It is my understanding that it was made around 1880 here in Ohio near Massillon/Navarre.
This beauty is handturned with Slightly Pinched Spout, Inscribed Shoulder, Applied Handle, and Blue and White Sponging. Stands 6" tall.
Excellent Condition. A narrow 1/2" wear spot on the rim on one side in the brown trim or a glaze rub in the manufacturing. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
