Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 4 Gallon Blue and White Spongeware Water Cooler with Matching Domed Lid.  
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features Rich and Shiny Blue and White Sponging on the Base and Lid.  The base alone is 12 1/2" tall and 11" wide across the top.  There is a little play between the lid seating ring and the wall of the cooler.  It may be for a 3 gallon or not, but is a matching lid. 
 
Excellent Condition.  The base has a narrow 1" chip inside the rim. That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The lid has a 1 1/4" chip on the top edge (3 o'clock in the lid picture).  Otherwise as made.
