Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Ohio.
 
Circa 1880, this beauty hails from Southeastern Ohio.  It features the Wax Sealer Grooved Rim, a Handle, and a Brushed Cobalt Apple.  These usually have a brownish glaze, but this one has a pleasing gray glaze.   Stands 10" Tall.  
 
Excellent Condition. A half-dozen minor 1/8" nibbles inside the rim and five outside from pinhead-size to 1/4").  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A kiln touch on the right side in the making.
