    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this imposing 1 Gallon Stoneware Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher.

     

    Dating around 1880, this country primitive was made in Northeast Ohio, probably near Navarre.  

     

    This beauty is Hand-Thrown and features an Albany Slip Interior which Provides Trim at the Rim, Tall Neck, Shoulder Band, Bulbous Base, Graceful Handle, and Large Cobalt "Fireworks" Sponging.  Stands 11 1/2" tall. 

     

    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind!
