    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Clark & Fox, Athens." 

     

    This the stamp of Nathan Clark who founded the Clark family pottery in Athens N.Y. in 1805.  He partnered with Ethan S. Fox from 1829-1843 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 66).

     

    This beauty features a Cream Pot Form, Tall Rim, Tooled Shoulder, Grooved Applied Handles with Cobalt Accent, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large 1832 Date.  Measures 9 3/4" tall and 12 1/4" wide across the top. 

     

    Very Good Condition.  Water Glass rings inside and some traces outside.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
