Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Harvest Jug made and signed by Clint Alderman, 2009."
 
Clint Alderman is a 41 year old folk potter from Clarksville, Georgia.  He uses clay from Mossy Creek and creates his glazes using wood ash and ground glass.  He fires his wares in a wood-fired kiln.  Production numbers are small and craftsmanship high.
 
This beauty features a 1/2 Gallon size, Set Stones for Eyes and Teeth, Strap Handle, Openings for Drinking and Filling, and the Potter's Signature and Date on the back.   Stands 8" to the top of the handle.
