Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Little Blue and White Spongeaware Butter Crock
 
It was made and stamped on the bottom by "The Dalton Pottery Co."  This company made pottery in Dalton, Ohio in the early 20th century.
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp on the Bottom and Blue and White Spongeware Decoration.  Measures 3 3/4" tall and 5 3/4" wide across the top.
 
This is the only signed example of a Dalton butter crock that I have ever seen.
 
Excellent Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Uneven glaze with several skips in the making.
