Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Mini Jug that reads, "Live and Let Live, Dan Pitzel, 901 East 1st St., Los Angeles, Calif." 
 
Around 1900, Dan Pitzel was proprietor of a saloon and boarding house or brothel. The slogan "live and let live" is so appropriate!  This is considered by some to be the oldest saloon in Los Angeles and is still there under the name of "One-Eyed Gypsy."  According to "Ghost Hunters of Urban Los Angeles," this 901 East 1st Street address is one of the most haunted in Los Angeles. 
 
This beauty dates around 1900  to 1920.   It features Four Lines of Stenciled Advertising and stands only 3 1/2" tall.
