Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Churn made for the merchant, "E. B. Taylor, Richmond, VA."
This beauty was made by A. P. Donaghho of Parkersburg, W.V. Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.
This jar features the Company Advertising at the Top, a "Zipper" or "Tire Tread" Decoration Incorporating the Capacity Number in the Middle, and a Larger Zipper at the Bottom. All the decoration is crisp, complete, and on a slight diagonal. Stands 15" tall.
Excellent Condition. Chip inside at the bottom where the dasher wore the surface, a 1/2" chip on the left handle, and a 1/4" chip on the right handle. That's it! No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
