Item 5599
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is perhaps the prettiest piece I have ever offered. It is an Oversized Pitcher Decorated and Signed by Reginald Austin (1890-1950).
Austin is a noted porcelain painter who worked first for Royal Worcester and then freelanced.
This pitcher features a Pair of Pheasants in the Morning Mist among Delicate and Wispy Undergrowth. Gold trim around the top and on the handle. Ribbed base. Stands 13" tall.
Excellent Condition. A single 1/4" flake at the base as shown, and fine overall crazing of age. Otherwise as made.
