Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by "Edmands & Co." 
 
This is the work of Edward and Thomas Edmands who ran the pottery in Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1852-1868 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 49).
 
This beauty features a Large Size, Pottery Stamp, and a Bird Poised on a Flower with Two Different Kinds of Blossoms.  The decoration takes up the entire front of the jar.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A few scattered small light stains.  Otherwise, no chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
