Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Edmands & Co."
 
This is the work of Edward and Thomas Edmands who ran the pottery in Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1852-1868 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 49).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and a Fancy Heart-Shaped Leaf.  The decoration is executed with a slip cup in bright and shiny cobalt.  Overall, a simple, but impressive decoration! Stands 13 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A couple flat 1/4" flakes in the body and overall light staining from use.  No spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
