Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by "Edmands & Co."
 
This is the work of Edward and Thomas Edmands who ran the pottery in Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1852-1868 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 49).
 
This beauty features the pottery stamp and a Triple Folk Art Floral.   Three different species of flower are represented on one stem.  Must be a hybrid!  The decoration was executed with a Slip Cup in Brilliant Cobalt Blue.  Stands 13" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Three 1/4" chips and nibbles around the lid seating ring inside, three minor nibbles inside the rim, and some stains from use.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
