Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Wide-Mouth Jar (most likely for oysters) made for "The Eldridge & Higgins Co., Cleveland, Ohio." This was a grocery store in Cleveland.
Circa 1900 to 1920, this beauty features the Handled Oyster Jar Form, Two-Tone Glaze, and Three Lines of Stenciled Advertising. Stands 10 1/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. Six chips on the bottom edge on the left side (1/4" to 1/2"). No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
