Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful and uncommon 1 1/2 Gallon Cream Pot made by "Eneix."
This is the mark of James Eneix who made stoneware in New Geneva, Pennsylvania for the brief period of 1874-1876 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 165). Eneix stoneware is not commonly seen due to the brief period of manufacture.
This beauty features the Cream Pot Form, Rounded Sides, and Company Advertising Surrounded by Tulips, Rose Leaves, and Bell Flowers. Measures 8 3/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. A 1" chip on the rim in the back and some surface wear around the middle. No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
