    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Evan R. Jones, Pittston, Pa."

     

    Jones potted in Pittston in the 1870's and 1880's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 34-37).

     

    This beauty features the pottery stamp with cobalt wash and a Large Brushed Cobalt Sideways Tulip.  The tulip has 6 leaves and a blossom with 3 petals.  Measures 9" tall and 9" wide across the top.

     

    Excellent Condition.  Some scattered light staining. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Two chips on the right side at the bottom in the kiln furniture mark in the making.
