Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this spectacular 3 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "F. B. Norton & Co., Worcester, Mass."

This is the work of Frank Norton and Frederick Hancock who made stoneware in Worcester using this stamp from 1856-1877 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 52-53).

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Spectacular Large Brushed Cobalt Floral in Brilliant Blue.  The two center blossoms look like large "eyes"!  The blue can be seen from the space station!  Stands 15" tall.

Exceptional Condition. As made.  No damage of any kind.  What looks like a chip on the right side of the spout is in the making and glazed over.
