Item 9902
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Tiny 1 Gallon Stoneware Crock made and stamped by "F. T. Wright & Son, Stoneware,Taunton, Mass."
This is the mark of the Franklin T. Wright and his son who ran their pottery from 1866 to the 1870's (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 50).
This beauty features a Tiny Size, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Sweet Bluebird on a Branch Decoration. The bird appears to be singing, probably because the branch is bearing fruit for breakfast! Bright and beautiful cobalt too. Measures 7 1/2" tall by 8 1/4" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Traces of water glass staining inside and some outside, and a 1/4" flake under each handle. No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
