Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by "F. Woodworth, Burlington, VT."  
 
This is the mark of F. Woodworth who ran his pottery in Burlington from at least 1875-1878 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 46). 
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Brushed Cobalt Floral with Dots.  Stands 11 1/4" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Wear around the inner seating ring and inside the top rim from use with a lid, and a 1/4" chip on the back at the bottom.  That's it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
