    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock made and stamped "Geddes, N.Y." 

     

    This crock was made in Geddes (Syracuse area) probably by Charles Hubbell and Dennison Chesebro (1867-87) (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 70). 

     

    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and an Unusual Dotted Floral Decoration made with a Slip Cup in Bright Cobalt.  Measures 9" tall and 10" wide across the top.

     

    Very Good Condition. A 1 1/4" hairline from the rim to the left handle, and a couple small stains.  No chips or restoration.
