Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made by Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Tooled Rounded Rim, Bold Stripe Top and Bottom, and the Company Advertisiing in the Middle with a Lot of Little Flourishes to Create a Fancy Look.  Stands 10" tall and 9" wide across the top.     
 
Excellent Condition.  Scattered light wear and staining.  That's it!  Nochips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
