Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by "Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Company Advertising in an Arch Surrounding a Flower Blossom.  Crisp and complete stencil.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A small kiln touch on the left side and mottled clay in the making.   No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
