Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, PA from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Company Advertising Surrounding a Large Ampersam and Accented with Leaves.  Stands 9 3/4" Tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Faint traces of water glass staining.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
