Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Superb 1 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made by "Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Top and Bottom Stripe, the Company Advertising Surrounding a Leaf, and the Capacity Number flanked by Leaves.  Measures 9 3/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition. Minor surface wear. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
