Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, PA from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Company Advertising Accented by Leaves in the Middle. Stands 10" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A couple surface lines on the bottom not seen inside.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Overglazed spots in the making.
