Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Wax Sealer that reads, "From Hamilton and Jones." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Tooled Rim with Groove for the Hot Wax and Six Alternating Straight and Wavy Cobalt Stripes that Frame the Company Advertising.  Stands 10" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A hairline across the base as show.  No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
