Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Wax Sealer made by "Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features the Company Advertising Surrounding a Monogram Overlapping of the Letters H & J and Adorned with Tulips at the Top and Leaves in the Middle and Bottom.  Stands 9 3/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the inner rim and minor nibbles inside the outer rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
