Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made for "Wm Haslage & Co., Grocers and Tea Dealers, No 18 Diamond, Pittsburgh, PA."

This jar was made in SW Pennsylvania, probably at Greensboro.

Dating about 1880, this beauty features a Top and Two Bottom Stripes that Frame the 7 Lines of Stenciled Lettering.  The cobalt advertising is strong and contrasts very well with the light gray glaze.  Stands 8 3/8" tall.

Excellent Condition. A 1/2" chip at the base in the back, and a small kiln touch on the back in the making.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.

A very nice piece of Pittsburgh stoneware and business history.
