Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Merchant Script Jug made for "M. H. Haussling, N.J. R.R. Ave. and Elm St., Newark, N.J."  
 
It was made by the Fulper Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey around 1900.
 
This beauty features the Company Advertising in 4 Lines of Large, Fancy Cobalt Script. Besides the historical value, the script is extremely precise and very pleasing to the eye. Notice the reference to the New Jersey Railroad too! Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition. Chip on the front of the spout, three chips around the bottom edge (1/4" to 1/2"), and some light staining.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
