Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."  
 
This is the work of Andrew K. Haxstun who ran a pottery in Fort Edward from 1875 to 1882 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68). 
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Bird Poised on a Branch Decoration.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Two shallow 1/4" ping lines on the spout and some light staining from use.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
