Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Fancy Floral Bouquet Executed in Bright and Shiny Cobalt.  It is gorgeous against the clean light glaze.  Stands 13 3/4" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A faint 1 1/2" vertical surface line on the front bottom, a 1 1/2" chip on the underside at the edge partially in the making, and a surface spider line on the bottom center.  No lines visible inside.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
