Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Fancy Floral Bouquet Executed in Bright and Shiny Cobalt.  It is gorgeous against the clean light glaze.  Stands 14" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 3/8" chip on the right side of the spout back by the handle and minor glaze rub on the center of the left side.  Otherwise as made!
