Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jug made for "The Herrman-McLean Co., Grocers, Tea & Coffee, Cleveland, O."
 
It was made and stamped on the back bottom by the "Sherwood Bros. Pottery, New Brighton, PA". 
 
Circa 1900-1920, this beauty features a Two-Tone Glaze and Four Lines of Advertising in a Rectangular Border.   The label includes three subjects that are favorites with collectors:  grocer, tea, and coffee.  Stands 8 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A minor pinhead-size nibble inside the spout. Otherwise, as made!
