Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Mini Jug that reads, "Merry Christmas from Howard M. Dietrich."  
 
H. M. Dietrich was a Wholesale & Retail Wines & Liquors dealer listed in the Minneapolis City Directories during the 1890s up into the early 1900s.  His place of business was on 316 Hennepin Avenue.  This jug was given away as a premium to entice customers to come back for larger quantities!
 
Circa 1900, this beauty features a Two-Tone Glaze adn Three Lines of Holiday Cheer.  Stands 3" tall.  
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind. A small glaze skip on the shoulder in the making.
