Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this cute Little Lidded Merchant Jar made for "I. Holzborn, Cor. Elk & Louisiana St., Buffalo."  
 
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features a Small Size, Three Lines of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt  Wash, and What may be the Original Lid.   Stands 7" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Wear around the middle of the jar and two minor 1/2" surface lines at the base.  No rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The lid has six small chips around the outside edge (1/4" or less).
