Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "J. H. Dipple Lewistown." 
 
This is the mark of John H. Dipple who ran the family pottery founded by his father in 1854 from 1901 to 1906 (Phil Schaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, p. 67-68). 
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and a Large Brushed Cobalt Floer with 7 Leaves and a Dangling Blossom.  Stands 13 1/2" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition.  Two small chips on the spout (3/8", 1/2"), and wear spots on the middle of the left side and wear line on the shoulder of the right side.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Mottled glaze in the making.
