Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic 2 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by "J. M. Harden, Palatine, W.Va."
Harden made pottery in Palatine, West Virginia (Now Fairmont) around 1880. His stoneware is not commonly seen on the market.
This beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Top and Bottom Stripe that Frames the Company Advertising Accented with Small Florals and Leaves. Good Contrast. Stands 11 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Slightly oval on top and convex on the bottom in the making.
